I really need to get better about blogging regularly! We've just been so crazy lately! We are busy all the time! I am missing LLL today and i'm sad, but my littles are snotty so I should probably keep the germs away from all the other babies.. not to mention I don't have much gas in the car.
Ever since Noah was born we have been making baby steps to change the way we eat, and its amazing to see how for we've come!! We still have changes to make but the more I learn the more I change.
We changed from toxic cleaning chemicals to nontoxic ones.. like 7th generation and i'll be getting some Dr Bronners soon.
Lately, I've been learning more about beauty products, and i'm amazed at the toxic ingredients in things like perfumes, lotions, and deodorant!! So i've made changes there one by one. I got the kids different body wash, and I made some laundry detergent and deodorant for Justin and I (aluminum free). I still have things I need to change like my makeup and our soap and shampoo.. but i'm taking it little by little, and learning as I go.
With every new thing I learn about the safety of products.. I think to myself, why can't I just make that myself, it cant be that hard!? So i'll probably be making our own soap and shampoo before too long. I mean really it cant be too hard, and maybe even fun! and the best part is no toxic ingredients and cheaper!
I guess that's all for now! The babies are probably ready for a snack! :)
